SDdirtybird purchased the Antarctica Polar Bears who will play in the International Conference. After being apart of the BETA Version, SDdirtybird realized what a thrill it was to be in a league like this, he gladdy accepted ultraferio's offer to remain part of the league.


November 5th, 2007

The Polar Bears announce their team logo which will be trademarked and put on all team gear and memorabilia. The logo was changed after the team owner wanted a more "football" type logo, so he went with the fierce logo to give the team an image that would stand with them throughout their history.


November 10th, 2007

The Polar Bears announce their team helmet which was designed by gatek. The helmet has all their team colors which are: gray, black, and white. The helmet also has their team logo.


November 10th, 2007

The Polar Bear announce their team stadium, the Artic Dome. The stadium has a cool feature that allows the whole stadium to expand for game days. The dome is in door but sometimes for an extra advantage, the team will open the dome roofs. The Polar Bears practice on in outdoor field so they are very used to the cold conditions.


November 11th, 2007

The Polar Bears announce their 1st player ever to be drafted, RB Maurice Jones-Drew. Drew was taken with the 10th overall selection in the 2001 WFL Draft. The Polar Bears felt that running back is a very key position so why not build a franchise off of a do it all type back.


November 12th, 2007

The Polar Bears announce their first trade that was made with the Razorbacks that sent three picks to them in return for three picks. The team moved back in one round, but moved forward in the other two rounds so in the long-hall, they felt this trade would benefit them.

December 1st, 2007

The Polar Bears announce their team jersey, designed by Browns-Fan. The jersey has all of their team colors: grey, black, and white. The team logo in featured on the helmet and on the pants. The World Football League (WFL) logo is featured on the collar of the jersey.


December 14th, 2007

The Polar Bears played their first game in franchise history, losing 27-30 in OT to the New Jersey Shore. Even though the team losed, the staff was very happy with their performacne. Quarterback Alex Smith was the player of the game, throwing for 250 yards and 2 TD's with 0 interceptions.

December 29th, 2007

The Polar Bears won their first game in franchise history, winning 32-22 at Baguio City in week 2 of the 2001 season. Running back Maurice Jones-Drew was the player of the game, rushing for 200 yards on only 20 carries, he also had 2 TD's with 0 fumbles.
